The “Pietro and Turiddo Lotti” Archaeological Civic Museum collects archaeological and historical-artistic artifacts from the municipal territory of Ischia di Castro (VT).

The museum collection has grown over time, around a donation made by the Stendardi – Lotti Family to the Municipality of Ischia di Castro, and today includes prehistoric materials from Settecannelle, important Etruscan-era grave goods, finds from the Roman-Longobard site of Selvicciola, the ancient town of Castro and the Hermitage of Poggio Conte.

On the upper floor there are audiovisual materials, documentaries and spaces for temporary exhibitions: currently, the “Lotti” Museum houses some sculptural materials from Vulci, such as Etruscan sphinxes and some finds related to the cult of Mithras.

The “Pietro and Turiddo Lotti” Civic Archaeological Museum is a member of SIMULABO, il Sistema Museale del Lago di Bolsena.
